Mariachi Rodriguez

I grew up playing mariachi in South San Diego with my brother. I started young and quickly found my passion for the music. Over the years, I’ve worked with mariachi groups all over San Diego and Southern California, building experience and learning from many great musicians.

Mariachi Rodriguez is a collective of mariachi musicians from San Diego. We bring together skilled players who are committed to performing mariachi music authentically, with solid musicianship and as a unified ensemble.

Professionalism is a big part of what we do. That means being on time, communicating clearly, and making sure events—whether corporate, educational, or private—run smoothly for the client, the musicians, and the audience.

Saturday availability is limited, but we are available for events during the week and on Sundays. I’ve had the opportunity to work with organizations like Acoustic Spot, DanzArts, Umbrella Ship, and the Family Arts Collaborative of San Diego, and the San Diego Zoo.
